ALBANA
THE QUEEN OF LOCAL GRAPESThe queen of local grapes is Albana. Alessandro Ramilli laid out a new vineyard aimed to produce a sweet wine whose main qualities are finesse and elegance. Those features are achieved by leaving grapes to dry on the plants and having them attacked by noble rot. A progressive grape-harvest from October to November is carried out according to the French method that allows to obtain amazingly complex grapes, rich in special aromas, if assisted by merciful weather conditions. Since 2016, the same vineyard has produced a dry Albana too.
